Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, who is on an official visit to Mongolia paid a courtesy call on Speaker of Mongolian Parliament M.Enkhbold. Speaker M.Enkhbold underlined that the Prime Minister’s visit would contribute to the strengthening of relations between Mongolia and Turkey and promotion of mutual understanding. The Speaker highlighted the necessity to expand the direct relations between business people and investors of both countries through regularly organizing such joint events as meetings and seminars. Moreover, he stated that the two countries have full potential to cooperate in the field of tourism, infrastructure and agriculture. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim pointed out that in order to increase the foreign trade and investment, the number of direct flights is need to be increased as well. Furthermore, he expressed the readiness of Turkish side to cooperate in tourism development in Orkhon Valley. Both sides agreed to jointly organize cultural events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey to be occurred in 2019.
