REVISED LAW ON PUBLIC OPINION POLLING
The Cabinet discussed and approved a draft revision to Law on Public Opinion Polling. The revision reflects a change in the time period allowed to conduct public opinion poll prior to Election Day. In specific, the law will regulate that public opinion poll must be conducted at least 21 days prior to Election Day. The Cabinet thus approved the draft revision, expressing a stance that conducting a referendum on amendment to the Constitution of Mongolia with the Presidential Election will save budget.
